Nalweyiso
In contrast to her husband, Nalweyiso Esther is an extremely loud and ambitious woman who married a widower like Batte only because he looked like he would go places. When he didn’t, Nalweyiso’s resentment grew, but she has managed to cover it up well. Nalweyiso has a split personality. She is the nice wife but also dances between two extremes: nice stepmom and wicked stepmom. She is talented at flipping the switch from one personality to the other. Nalweyiso is selfish and doesn’t hesitate to use anyone or anything to her advantage. She loves her two biological children, but not more than she loves herself.
