It's been a hard time for everyone but especially for Mvelo and Msizi. She is coming to terms with losing who she thought was the love of her life while he still can't see Hlabangani as his father in any way.

Phungula and Msizi have lived all their lives believing that they are father and son but even though the truth has now come out, Msizi assures his father that he will be staying at home and nothing is going to change between them.

Now that he's alive and kicking and finally back home, it's time for Hlabangani to face up to his problems. With MaShandu's help, they make sure that Mvelo and Phungula know what he's been up all these years.

To prevent her daughter from being in a relationship with Msizi, MaShandu went ahead and told her about Hlabangani being their father. Now that everyone knows, it's time to make sure that Phungula doesn't find out.

MaShandu and MaNxumalo almost spill the beans about Mvelo and Msizi’s paternity.

MaShandu plays MaNxumalo, and forces her to show her where she buried Hlabangane.

Ahead of his funeral that no one wants to hold, Msizi was tasked with taking care of Hlabangani but when it’s time to fetch him, everyone gets the biggest shock.

Now that Sebenzile's mother is also present, she teams up with Hlabangani's and they head over to Phungula's home in hopes of coming back with their son. But, because Phungula is so unaware of the issue at hand, he gets his gun and chases them away.

MaShandu has been nonchalant about Hlabangani's situation even when she's been called to talk to the Chief but, after spending the night with him, Msizi discovers that Hlabangani is actually still alive and breaks the news to MaShandu.

MaShandu has left Hlabangani with his long kept secrets. This has left Msizi confused as to what's really happening and MaNxumalo with more problems to deal with.

When Hlabangane falls sick and sees that his daughter is falling in love with a boy, he confesses to being the boy's child that he fathered with his wife's best friend. MaShandu then takes matters into her own hands and delivers him to the best friend in a wheelbarrow.
