Rejections, selections and tears – Clash of the Choirs SA

Sibuyile! Round two of Clash of the Choirs SA auditions kicked off with Limpopo and their choirmaster, Hlengiwe Ntombela, known as HLE. After scouting random talent on the streets and an intense two days of auditions, she scored herself some ‘baddies’.

#TeamKhanyisa came through with the vibes as she looked for her dream team in Mpumalanga. Mzansi loved her personality and enjoyed seeing her fight hard for the province. With her being the youngest in the game, they were pleasantly surprised by her musical knowledge. We can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

The moment Prince Kaybee said: “You can't host the World Cup and be knocked out in the group stages,” we knew he meant business. He certainly brought the drama with a freak bike accident, but he soldiered on and kept it moving.  The choirmaster also shed a few tears for his late father.

Stoan Seate pulled through for North West and it was a match! Mzansi felt sorry for Stoan when he turned down a hopeful who flew in from Gauteng, after a failed attempt with Prince Kaybee. He was emotional about shutting down Nyeleti's dream.

Langa Mavuso did not come to play. The choirmaster showed up in all his grandeur and expertise to select hopefuls in the Northern Cape. The audience also welcomed the much-needed shade.
