They’ll score each other’s efforts with points for braai technique, taste and entertainment. But someone is crashing the party! In each episode, a different secret celeb will be dropping by to taste all the goodies, enjoy the braai, and hand out their own points.

We’ll see him make his way through vicious limestone peaks and flooded caves as he searches for isolated groups of Hmong people, so he can follow in their footsteps as they make tools from shrapnel left over from the Vietnam War. Along the way he’ll hunt for mushrooms and meet the traditional musket hunters of the Bolaven Plateau.

Exciting design challenges this season include creating a streetwear collection for male, female and non-binary models, a haunted mansion Halloween episode with Taraji P Henson as judge, a faux fur challenge, comfy chic for those couch days, an unconventional materials challenge during which they have to use only materials that they can source from a cocktail bar, and they’ll also have to make reunion looks for the ladies of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Orange County and New York City!

Expect a blend of Bollywood and Nollywood flair as the dancers, hosts and judges blend the best of both worlds. Culture swap offers the South African public an opportunity to get to understand some of our different types of cultures and lifestyles. Each week 2 people trade their lives, and we follow them as they try to adjust to the different environments, from urban to rural, traditional to modern. Instead of Wife Swap, think Life Swap!

Night of Doom Season 1
Supernatural drama series (original title Qayamat Ki Raat). In 1993, newlyweds Suhasini and Mahendar visit a Ram temple where a “tantrik” named Kalasur, who lusts after Suhasini, curses her for beheading and dismembering him after he attacks them. If the curse holds, no woman of her blood will be able to survive consummating her marriage. 25 Years later, Suhasini’s daughters Karuna and Gauri are all grown up and Karuna is preparing to marry, when they find themselves back at the cursed temple, and they accidentally resurrect the tantrik, setting off a dark chain of horrors that will follow them and their families for the next 28 years.

Uyajola 9/9 Season 9
Our Sunday night sinners are back! Fresh off stringent sensitivity training, the series’ original host Jub Jub returns to catch and confront those cheaters. Nowhere is safe, because Jub Jub and the camera crew are headed everywhere from Gqeberha to Cape Town, Joburg, Mthatha, Durban and Mpumalanga. But maybe the cheaters and their accusers need some sensitivity training, too, because joh, the things people are calling each other, the slaps, the attacks, the all-out brawls from people in just their underwear, it’s all here on screen.
