It’s going to be a spectacular silly season on DStv. From Wednesday, 1 December all the way until New Year’s Eve, DStv is making it snow down fun, laughter and festive spirit for the whole family. So when you choose to slip a little DStv under the tree, you Choose Joy!
You’ll get children’s specials and movies including the brand new Disney movie Christmas Again? And Bugs Bunny’s 24 Carrot Holiday Special.
You’ll get all the help you ever wanted in the kitchen with at least 9 BBC Lifestyle specials with your favourite chefs, from Jamie Oliver to Mary Berry and Nigella. You’ll see Buddy vs. Duff Holiday, and delicious local content, too, with ’n Woolies Kersfees-kookstryd Met Minki Festive and Get-Together Season 2.
You’ll see 4 brand new local Christmas movies (and check out the Choose Joy Movies page to see all the international Christmas movies coming to DStv, too).
And the bells are ringing for series, with M-Net (DStv channel 101) bringing us The Moodys' Christmas Season 2 and BBC Brit (DStv channel 120) stuffing the stocking with at least 10 new and classic Christmas specials from series like Call The Midwife, Death In Paradise, All Creatures Great and Small, and even Top Gear is getting in the spirit!

The Moodys' Christmas Season 2
It’s family reunion time again for Chicago Irish family the Moodys. Bickering married couple Sean (Denis Leary) and Ann’s (Elizabeth Oerkins) plans to travel are botched when their tjhree adult kids return to live with them thanks to divorce, house arrest and the logistics of moving house following a break up. Will build to a Box Set.

It’s Christmas time at Fitzpatrick Referrals and Professor Noel Fitzpatrick and his team are working to get their animal patients well and home in time to celebrate with their families. This will be Noel’s first Christmas without his beloved animal companion, Keira, so we’re hoping to see a little tribute to her.

Conductor and violinist André Rieu hosts a festive Christmas concert at his house, a medieval castle in Maastricht in the Netherlands.
