Investigative journalist Edie Hansen (Natalie Dormer) arrives at the scene, but she’s not chasing a story: It turns out that the deceased man is her brother! She immediately clashes with Detective Forty Bell (Brendon Daniels), whose career has already been blighted by her journalistic pen.
Edie immediately sets about investigating the case, while simultaneously being forced to establish a relationship with the couple’s children, Daniel and Jamie – who have never met their Aunt. Forty has his suspicions about the murder, but with security cameras cut and no witnesses, where can he turn for hard facts?
