The Showmax pro-rata is a once-off fee that is charged for moving your Showmax payment date to align with your DStv payment date. 

For example, if you pay your Showmax subscription on the 15th of every and your DStv account on the 1st of every month, your subscription payment for Showmax would need to be moved forward to the 1st (to match your DStv payment date) - those additional days will be charged once-off. 

Please note: the pro-rata will be dependent on when your Showmax account is added to your DStv bill in relation to your DStv payment date and your Showmax payment date.
