What's the difference between your FLTE and Fibre service?

  • It’s important to note you’ll get great savings on our internet when bundled with your DStv subscription, no matter which you select.
  • The options available to you are determined by coverage. It may be that only Fibre or only FLTE is available at your location. Please check your coverage on dstv.com
  • FLTE stands for Fixed Long-Term Evolution and is a wireless technology which delivers internet and doesn’t require installation. It can be used at up to two different locations. We have FLTE data packages from 50GB day/night, to 400GB anytime.
  • Fibre is uncapped, requires installation, and can only be used at one location.
  • If both Fibre and FLTE are available at your location, you need to consider usage. If you have many people in the home using the internet and the use includes gaming, daily streaming of video services (like DStv, Showmax and others), an uncapped solution may be a better choice for you.
