On Monday, Big Brother called Head of House Nana into the diary room to relay instructions about the wager task for week 6, a “back to school” presentation involving a play and yearbook.
As usual, housemates had to decide what percentage they would wager: 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% of their Big Brother token allowance.
They wasted no time in settling for 75% again, seemingly scared of taking a leap of faith and wagering the full amount. To be fair, last week they were on the road to starvation, and the Valentine’s day dinner saved them after they’d lost out on their wager the week before.
But one would think that they’d all put their best foot forward: they’re all influencers, creatives and content creators, and surely they could be pooling those strengths for regular 100% wager wins?
Nonetheless, after reading the brief the excited housemates put their heads together and brainstormed ideas, whilst HoH Thabang pleaded with them to carefully read the brief so that they don’t miss Biggie’s instructions and fall short.
As mentioned, the theme is “back to school” and the housemates are to relive their childhood memories. They are to write, direct and perform a school play, and must also create a yearbook that includes some fun and quirky elements.
Could wagering 75% be a big gamble considering the wager losses they’ve suffered in the past, or will the housemates put their energies together and prevail?
