Last Sunday the very expressive Jenne Li pair said goodbye to the BBTitans house with the least amount of votes from viewers. Their exit only meant one thing: It would soon be time for the games for the coveted Head of House position. Monday came and Thabana snagged the win.
Thabana’s wins
The HoH win sparked a streak of wins for Thabana, making it clear that the week was truly theirs. After the Head of House games, Thabana came out victorious in the Flutterwave Task, which involved a game where the housemates hypothetically sent money and gift items to their loved ones from one part of the world to another.
Nana, one part of the duo, snagged another win at the arena games where she came out fastest amongst the other housemates in an ancient Egyptian-themed challenge, winning herself US$1 000.
During the task on Saturday night, Thabana came out victorious after a tussle with Maya sealing their stance as the most formidable pair of the week.
Valentine’s Day celebration
On Valentine’s Day, Biggie surprised the housemates with a Valentine’s Day dinner that was filled with sweet words, tears, and preludes to more drama.
During the dinner, the housemates were instructed to share words of affirmation with each other, but they ended up giving tributes to their faves.😂 A couple of housemates went around the table giving a speech to all, including Miracle OP who opened the floor for tears to flow as he welled up speaking about his fellow housemates.
Emotions run free at the Valentine's Day dinner
The speech given by some of these housemates would, however, become the catalyst for drama throughout the rest of the week.
Marvin gave a special shout-out to Tsatsii that ended up bringing about the rumour that Marvin liked her. Tsatsii herself eventually spoke to Kanaga Jnr – she felt Marvin was coming for her and he shouldn’t worry because she wasn’t going to entertain him.
Yemi Cregx also had a go at Miracle OP when he made it clear that Miracle OP was clearly shading him with the speech he gave Khosi at the Valentine’s Day dinner.
Wager win
After a loss that left them with little food, the housemates finally bagged a win in their weekly wager. Following the weekly theme “We Are Africans”, the housemates were tasked to put together a new flag, a costume, and an artefact to represent their tribe, Ziyakhala.
The great divide
After their wager presentation on Thursday, the housemates were split into two tribes. These were male and female and each tribe were to only communicate within themselves. This meant the male housemates could only speak to other male housemates while female housemates could only speak to other female housemates.
Their only means of communication were via representatives – Miracle OP for the male housemates and Yaya for the females.
The great divide brought its own spice as each gender battled for spaces in the house and battled the feelings that came from being separated from their "better halves". The silence eventually ended on Saturday with the male and female housemates happy to be on speaking terms again.
The great divide causes hunger
Party with style
The week ended with an awesome Saturday night party involving the housemates decked out in their traditional attire, dancing the night away. As expected there was a lot of post-party drama involving Thabang, Nelisa, and Khosi, as well as a spicy podcast by Blaqboi and Marvin.
The Saturday night party
Our fingers are crossed for the amazing new week and what the BBTitans housemates will bring to our screens!
