Born Shadia Zaher to a Lebanese father and a Zambian mother, the sultry songbird first hit the mainstream music scene about 4 years ago, but don’t let that fool you. Shadaya, as she is popularly referred to by her fans and fellow musos has been hitting the recording studios since she was 16.

Aptly named Shadia which means “she sings” in Arabic, Shadaya has dabbled into business after her education, but the lure of the studio and singing has been a calling she couldn’t ignore and thus began her musical journey.

With collaborations and performances with some local and international heavyweights like Davido, WizKid, Jidenna, Emtee, Petersen Zagaze, Slap D, Maleek Berry just to name a few under her belt, the delectable Shadaya is going full throttle and has ZERO plans of slowing down anytime soon.

With the successful launch of the visuals to her hit single ‘Bad Energy’ out and making the rounds, she stays putting out positive energy; banishing any negativity with her positive outlook to life.
