23 December 2021, Lusaka, Zambia: The festive season and new year is gearing up to be the most exciting time for viewers of Zambezi Magic, DStv Ch 162 and GOtv Supa Ch 5. Wanilata?, a fun and heart-warming new dating reality game show, premieres on 4 February 2022, while hot favourites return for fabulous new seasons!
The reality show will make its debut in the Friday night slot at 21:00 on 4 February 2022. Wanilata? is an adaptation of the popular Mzansi Magic show Uyang’thanda Na? which sees singletons finally confessing their long-hidden feelings to their crush during a surprise date. Don’t miss the show that will dominate your Friday nights – who knows, it could even inspire those watching to make a move with the one they desire.
Leading the pack of fantastic new season of favourites is Makofi. The show will return for its second season on 27 December at 19:30. Starring Chimwemwe Zulu, Chacha Cotton, Preston Mwila and Esaya Tembo and will deal with themes of perseverance, justice, revenge, love and betrayal. From 24 January 2022 at 21:30 is season 3 of the relatable drama Amooye, which follows the lives of millennials living in Lusaka. In this new season, married couple Ntaz and Themba figure out if they’re truly meant to be together, Wiza can’t be with the person she truly loves, and Sepo is trying to find her place in a fast-changing world. Noni finds out about Daphne and the real reason why they never left for South Africa. Which woman will Kwabe choose? And Muta, now back on the market, has a secret admirer. Tune in for your dose of Amooye every Monday to Wednesday for the drama and intrigue.
The 3rd of February sees the return of the fan favourite, Tuvwange Lifestyle at 21:30. Season 4 of the much-loved talk show features its much-loved hosts, Natasha Van Der Maas, Esther Chungu, Mutale Mwanza and former Miss Zambia Michelo Malambo, as they talk about everything from hot topics to the latest trends. There will be two additions to the show for season 4 – music performances and an on-the-pulse segment called ‘Girl Chat’, where a host’s friend will join the ladies to discuss a sizzling topic in-depth.
And finally, returning for its second season on 4 February at 20:30 is the much-loved comedy Uncle Limbani. In this new season, Limbani’s long-time love Gertrude threatens to leave him if he doesn’t put a ring on it setting him off on another season of hilarious misadventures.
