International award winner and first runner up in Big Brother Africa season 8 (2013), Cleo Ice Queen’ is a 28 year old musician, model, entrepreneur, radio and television presenter. A well-known face in the media/entertainment industry, Cleo has become an influential figure and role model across Zambia and the rest of Africa.
Cleo has the character and energy to represent and deliver for any project she engages in as she is backed with a great work ethic and experience. With the biggest solo social media following in Zambia of almost 120 000 facebook fans, 86,000+ twitter fans and 82,000+ on Instagram, its not hard to see that Cleo is a home-grown favourite.
The name Ice Queen was derived from her love of jewellery which is called ‘Ice’ in hip hop slang, and Hip Hop is the backbone of Cleo’s career.
She recently anchored a daily drive time show on Lusaka’s hit radio Rock FM 96.5 for almost 2 years and left the station in order to further her education. She is also the presenter of the 1st ever local football magazine show called “Bola yapa Zed” on Supersport. In 2015, she released her debut album titled “GeminIce” which is the first ever female hip hop album in Zambia.
Cleo has been nominated in the Afrimma awards 2015, 2016 and 2017 under “Best Female Southern Africa” category of which she brought victory to Zambia by scooping the award in 2015. She has hosted/MC’d at numerous events and continues to be a loved and trusted brand among Zambians.
