Things between Tyra and Mel have taken a strain since they discovered Mathias is still alive. For Mel, things were better when they thought he was dead because Tyra had something else to focus on: their business.

For months she begged her to move on with her life, but Tyra could not accept that Mathias was no longer around.

All Mel wanted was for them to start a clean slate and focus on running their business. That did not happen as Tyra was obsessed with avenging Mathias's death.

His return was a blessing and a curse for the two friends because things have escalated to a point where they are ready to go their separate ways.

"I do not care who Tyra sees. She can live with Mathias forever for all I care. All I want is for her to focus on making music," Mel told Alan.

Tyra is now focusing on Mathias and working with him and that has left Mel free to seek other opportunities.

Mel is also making money moves. She approached business mogul Helen to help her start a new venture. Though they have not finalised the details of their partnership, it is clear Mel is willing to end her partnership with Tyra.

Does this mean Mel and Helen will be Tyra and Mathias's rivals in the music business? 

Will they fight about artists and everything involved in pursuing a career in the music business? Will their friendship survive if they become business rivals?
