In a tragic turn of events, Patrick finds himself facing murder charges. Whom did he kill, you ask? Grandmother Dorcus met her untimely demise at the hands of her own grandson. But he only finished what someone else had started, unaware that the old woman was even in the room already struggling for her life.
As things stand, he faces a high likelihood of becoming his father’s neighbour in prison, contingent upon the honesty of Nambi, Dembe, Jessica and now Kawadwa.
Nambi, the perpetrator of Dorcus’ death, fled the scene upon realising her deed. Little did she know, her panicked escape did not escape the notice of Kirunda's faithful driver, Dembe.
Will Nambi allow Patrick to take the fall?
Nambi has never been a favourite at the Kirunda mansion. Dorcus was the only one who tolerated her, and that was solely because she had an agenda to fulfil. Only recently had she begun to build a relationship with her mother-in-law, and it seemed to be progressing positively.
Let’s consider two possibilities:
If she decides to come clean:
- She would confirm their suspicions about her true character.
- Patrick might want nothing to do with her afterward, leaving her as a broke single mother.
- The family wouldn’t hesitate to make her pay, potentially resulting in her being a pregnant woman in jail.
However, if she chooses to remain silent, she risks being caught as we all know Dembe's loyalty lies with the family.
Will Patrick ponder on what Dembe tells him?
Dembe wasted no time telling Patrick what he saw that fateful night and it all rest with what Patrick does with the information given to him.
1. Will he do an investigation of his own and ask Nambi what Dembe told him, or
2. Will she risk it all for the mother of his unborn child and hope he gets away with the 'accident' version of his story?
Time will tell as the story continues to unfold on Sanyu. Be sure to tune in every weekday at 8 PM on Pearl Magic Prime DStv Stream channel 148 and GOtv Stream channel 303.
