Kushisa bhe! on Mzansi Wethu with the launch of the channel’s campaign Ezethu Ziyashisa. For the next three months, the campaign will highlight all the hot new shows, local content, and fan favourites that channel 163 has to offer.
From Monday to Sunday, the line-up is jam-packed with a variety of content, from reality shows to dramas and even a brand-new telenovelas. Two new Wethu originals – KwaNjomane and Sibongile & the Dlaminis – have been a hit with audiences since their premieres.
Matric Revision is an exciting new addition to the 17:00 daily slot on Wethu. The show is dedicated to assisting matriculants with preparing and revising for their Matric prelims and final exams covering Maths Literacy, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Business Studies, Accounting, English, Geography, History, and Economics.
The Monday to Friday 18:00 slot is for reality, featuring the Mseleku family’s Uthando Ne’sthembu S6, Mnakwethu Happily Ever After S2, KwaNjomane, Pastor Wants a Wife S2, and on Saturday it’s Mzansi’s favourite talent search show, Idols. The 18:30 slot from Monday to Wednesday is all about Sibongile & The Dlaminis; then it’s Love Back S6 (Thursdays) and Love & Loss S3 (Fridays). This is followed by News on Wethu every day at 19:00.
The hottest, SAFTA-nominated and winning telenovelas seal off the line-up on Mondays to Fridays at 19:30 starting with Gomora S2, The River S3, Lingashoni S1 (Mondays – Thursdays), and The Queen S5.
Wethu also caters for local movie lovers with an offering from local producers for the 21:30 Saturday night slot. These include iCherrie Yam, S’phila Njani, Feluthando, Mjolo kePandemic, RSVP, and many more in the line-up for August and September.
