Ryan pulled out all the stops to capture Mellisha’s heart, so why wouldn’t he want equally the same, if not more, for their wedding?  

On the couple’s Wish List was Mellisha’s Hindu and African inspired wedding dresses, the décor and cake.

Mellisha’s family came out in their numbers for her dress fitting. How’s that for support? The gorgeous bride joked with Kayise, saying Ryan better cry when he sees her in her dress. See for yourself, here.   

Now, tradition required Mellisha to attend to other things and couldn’t be part of the décor and cake viewing. She trusted Ryan and members of her family in both these items on their Wish List.

Mellisha’s mother added an African “feel” to the décor, by making beaded gifts with the couple’s initials for the guests on every table.  

Ryan took the lead at the cake tasting. His parents were also there to support. Their three-tier cake had chocolate, vanilla and strawberry flavours and Ryan was a huge fan of the strawberry.

With that, Mellisha and Ryan ticked off all the items on their Wish List and had themselves a perfect wedding.
