No one could have seen it coming. Just last week, MaMkhize told her son, Jama, that she had seen him kill his father in cold blood. We thought this was the moment of reckoning, Mndeni knew the truth and would surely bring Jama to book. But alas, things did not turn out that way.

MamKhize shocked us all by playing false witness and blaming Mancinza’s death on Mndeni instead of Jama. In a last ditch attempt to connect with her evil son, she told ibutho that it was Mndeni who had killed Mancinza in cold blood.
Her guilt may be eating her to shreds, however, it is a little too late. Jama has succedded in killing Mndeni and throwing him into the sea.
Juba finally got his chance to take a shot at Mndeni as revenge for killing his father. With a missed shot, Jama came in to finish the job gruesomely with a knife.
Mndeni has been through so much in his life already. He lost both his parents at a young age, became an orphan and was taken in by Mancinza and trained to be hitman. When he finally left ibutho and being a hitman, he met the love of his life Khethiwe but even that was quickly taken from him when Jama revealed who Mndeni really was.
