Team Zaza bites the dust – Clash of the Choirs SA

While some choirs managed to wow the judges with their sterling performances, it was in fact quite the opposite for Zaza and her choir.

Looking grand, team Zaza took to the Clash of the Choirs South Africa stage and performed Master KG’s hit called ‘Skeleton Move’. To say the least, their performance left the judges unimpressed. Weighing in on the performance, Kwaito star, Zwai Bala said the team was getting too comfortable. Former lead singer of The Soil made it known that she wasn’t captivated. Dr Tumi commented by saying he felt let down. He further said he expected the choir to bring its A-game.

In other news, Khanyisa and her choir surprised many with their rendition of Dr Tumi’s ‘Akekho’.  If you’re an avid viewer of the show, you will know that things didn’t start off great for this choir. The good doctor hailed the team for being bold enough to put a twist into the song. Zwai said the performance was on an international level, and everyone connected spiritually. Buhlebendalo said everyone was in unison and no one tried to outdo the other.
