In case you missed it, Clash of the Choirs is back with a bang. The stakes are high with a R1 million cash prize up for grabs and from what we've seen, the singers are ready to fight it out. This is what Mzansi had to say about the season premiere:
1. The hosts are popping
Not only are Bontle Modiselle and DJ Sabby professionals, they also radiate that youthful energy and keep us entertained. They play an integral role as they provide explainers for mzansi during the episode. South Africa can't wait to see more of them on our screens.
2. New season, new rules
This season is bringing all things new, such as a forward pass. With this magic tag, you get to skip the two nerve-wrecking audition days and head straight to Joburg to compete for the prize. This makes you a choir member with immediate effect ... we love!
3. Solo singers form the next superstar choir
To Mzansi's surprise, choirs will be split up and paired with other solo singers to make the dream team happen. Viewers seem to think this will create some drama although they welcomed the plot twist.
3. Ku lit
The talent is amazing and we can’t help but agree. The choirs and solos are here to play no games.
4. The choir masters are invested
We saw #TeamVusiNova, #TeamZaza, #TeamNtencane and #TeamLadyDu assemble their teams and all the hard work that goes into choosing the best of the best. Our choir masters are here to leave no crumbs.
