Is'thunzi is Mzansi Magic's brand new and first teen drama following four girls on their quest to help each other find love and make their dreams come true.
Leading the "Ninjas", as the four teens have dubbed themselves, is the go-getter and sassy Winnie (Saints and Sinner's Thuso Mbedu) who dreams of marrying a rich and famous rugby player. Her dreams are dashed when she's exiled to go live with her strict aunt in Bergville, KwaZulu-Natal.
It is in Bergville that we meet the rest of the Ninjas: the young wife Londi (Zikhona Bali) ; the misunderstood creative spirit Thishiwe (Makgotso M), and Noxolo (Yolanda Kgaka), a shy and smart girl with a shameful secret.
