Tonight, Mpumi's fate as the winner of the Captain Morgan music challenge stood in not just Chuenzaaa but Lerato Modise's way as well, as the three were down to a tie on the Captain Morgan series of challenges.
With a grand R4 000 up for grabs and a series of musical games to go through to claim it, this trio ruled the roost. From Know the song to Complete the lyrics and Musical hoops, they all stood on business but after the tie-breaker of yet another round of Musical hoops, a varient of the popular Musical Chairs, it was down to Chuenzaaa and Mpumi, then the dancing queen from the 012 did it like she was doing it on TV.
When it comes to creative challenges, Mpumi's teams have been nailing these but a sole victory could not be sweeter as it coincided with her grandmother's heavenly birthday. "Do it for gogo," McJunior was spotted cheering on for Mpumi during the tie-breaker, after she had made it known that this win would mean a lot to her for that reason. Her victory was sweet and she immediately paid homage to her gran by singing happy birthday to her after bagging the coveted R4k.
This week, Mpumi managed to dodge nominations and because her team, Team Kopano, won the weekly wager last week, she gets to be one of four budget holders and just after her Captain Morgan win, she got to take centre stage as a story teller. Did we mention that she was also part of the team that won the Omo TV commercial challenge a week ago, earning each member a brand new washing machine and R5 000 cash. She may be taking home R1000 after the team splits its earnings equally, but she was destined for club 5k with the additional prize money she earned tonight.

Winning did not stop there. Mpumi won the house's attention during a storytime around the fire. As a qualified actor, storytelling comes natural for Mpumi and so once she had narrated her fairytale, and set the floor for others to follow.
