Episode 42
Sibongile is set to chase her dream, while the Dlaminis prepare lobola negotiations for Kwenzo and Nomalanga. Kwenzo finally corners Sibongile to address the kiss.
Episode 43
Kwenzo is gutted when Sibongile tells him that the kiss meant nothing. Velephi confesses Manqoba’s real paternity to an unconscious Sipho.
Episode 44
Kwenzo declares his love for Sibongile. Velephi sets to trap Zakes, meanwhile Vuma learns that Zakes has been harassing Sipho. Ma’am Ntuli pays the family a visit and the Mbambos learn about all the nasty things the teacher has been saying to Sangweni.
Episode 45
Sibongile daydreams about Kwenzo after he confessed his love for her. Wenzeni advises her to get her man, not knowing it’s Kwenzo. Vuma chastises Zakes for his violent behavior towards Sipho.
Episode 46
Nomalanga exposes the kiss to the Dlamini family and demands that they fire Sibongile. Zakes admits to tracking Velephi using the new phone, but he turns the tables on her when he wants to have a paternity test done on Manqoba.
Episode 47
Under the looming threat of Sokhabase's fury, Kwenzo's desperate proclamation of love for Nomalanga saves him, but for Sibongile, destiny isn't as kind. With Zakes unwavering on the paternity test, Velephi needs Deliwe, the only ally who might hold the key to her salvation.
Episode 48
In a shocking turn of events, the helpers down tools in solidarity with Sibongile, but Phetheni fires all of them. Despite Deliwe’s manipulation, Zakes takes Manqoba for a DNA test without Velephi’s knowledge.
Episode 49
Phetheni is forced to rehire the domestic workers and Sibongile, but Nomalanga is not happy with her decision. Zakes suspects that Velephi is out with sugar daddies when she’s not home yet, but he is wrong.
Episode 50
Nomalanga and Gcina conspire against Sibongile, and she begins to feel as if she walking with a target on her back. Deliwe gives Velephi a lecture to focus on her child and her future husband from now on.
Episode 51
Gcina overhears a private conversation between Deliwe and Phetheni and gains ammunition against Sibongile. Sibongile is stunned to learn that she’s been paying for Deliwe’s debt. Zakes finally confronts Velephi about the paternity test results.
Episode 52
Kwenzo is stung when Sibongile is distant towards him after getting advice from Nomfundo. Zakes chooses to spare Velephi’s life, but on one condition – she and Manqoba have to move in with him.
Episode 53
Gcina puts her plan to drive Sibongile out of the Dlamini home in motion, while Nomfundo low-key advises Sibongile to settle for number two. Zakes gets upset when Velephi is reluctant to eat his food and he does something to prove that he is trustworthy, unlike her.
Episode 54
In a cunning play for Nomalanga's affection, Gcina ruthlessly undermines Sibongile, leaving Kwenzo entangled in a web of doubt about who to trust. Velephi's shocking confession to Asanda reveals the suffocating grip Zakes has on her life, forcing both women to question their friendship and their freedom.
