Njengaye and Nomfundo may have been able to hide their scandalous affair and their love child, but now things are starting to heat up because their secret is about to come to light. This season, their son Themba (played by Ntando Zondi) is looking to be a full and legitimate member of the Dlamini clan. During his upbringing, he always had a strong bond with his mother, and an even stronger desire to spend more time with his father.
Zamantungwa “Zama” Khumalo (played by Azande Mkhungo) is also joining the cast as Sibongile’s varsity roommate. Zama is an IT girl and cheese-girl of the hood, despite facing economic challenges. She has always exhibited a flair for the dramatic and a love for expressing herself through fashion and performance. Don't miss the chance to meet Zama in the upcoming season of Sibongile & the Dlaminis, airing from Monday 29 July.
Ntando Zondi, who is still in high school, is well-known for his impressive portrayal of the young Prince Shaka on Mzansi Magic’s Shaka Ilembe. Zondi will make his debut on the show in Episode 3, on Wednesday 31 July. Mkhungo is an AFDA graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Live Performance. She has a number of theatre performances under her belt.
