Growing up in Cape Town, Janet or Lady J as she loves to be called always dreamt about the big city of gold, meeting the men on TV soapies and being in with the crowd. It didnʼt matter how – but she knew that is where she belongs.
She wanted to be the next TV star, but soon realized that not everything in the city of gold glittered.
She completely reinvented herself. She was a beautiful girl who never had a problem meeting men. She is completely selfish and self-absorbed, and has absolutely no faith or interest in family - which makes her a strong foil and negative influence in Lindiʼs life.
