When Shaka and Mmabatho announced they would be making it official, we were never prepared for all the drama it would bring with it! Yesterday's episode was by far one of the most entertaining of the season and according to the tweets, Mzansi agrees too!
Here are our favourite moments so far:
The return of Mziwoxolo!
Mziwoxolo the money maker! Claiming to have negotiated a hefty R1.2 million for lobola - he is a man on a mission! Twitter was excited to see him make a come back and he certainly adds to the different characters around the table.
The clan name entry - 'Amatshisthi Amhlope'
Uncle Brutus hijacked Mjakes at the last minute, and along with Prince made the greatest entry ever! Brutus could'nt be bothered with the formalities! He arrived at the Mabuza home and things got off to a rocky start, Mziwoxolo was not impressed with him at all. This was certainly a sign of things to come!
Gracious: The lead negotiater
Gracious certainly doesn't play by the rules! Just when Mziwoxlolo and Uncle Brutus thought they would be handling the numbers - Gracious declared herself the lead negotiator! What Gracious wants - Gracious gets. Even Uncle Brutus has started to refer as 'hard body'.
Whiskey worth 380$
When a woman of such pertinent taste is leading negotiations - it's bound to get a little expensive! Gracious was not impressed with the bottle of whiskey that Brutus presented and insisted that only the blue label that 'keeps on walking' will do for her! Malume had no idea of the 380 dollars (not rands) it would cost until Kea gave him a heads up!
Prince and Gift warming each other up!
Although Prince was assigned to represent the Khoza family, it seemed he had other plans of his own! He 'warmed up' to Gift and made sure he was seated very close. Gift tried everything but Prince was determined as ever to sit next to potential bae! The visibly annoyed Gift was just the cherry on top of all the drama!
150k for the bride!
After much deliberation, Gracious was finally pushed to make a decision! She made a shocking announcement that left Prince ungovernable, responding with a firm "Asoze". Mmabatho was up for 150K - no compromises!
