Your favourite telenovela is adding to the melting pot of drama. Never short of twists and turns, we can look forward to new characters who’ll soon find themselves entangled in the tricky world of drugs, family ties, territories and the organized chaos that always looms overhead. Can they handle?
Bhekumuzi Khumalo – played by Robert Mpisi
We’ve met Bhekumizi, who emerges as Brutus’ long lost first-born son. Having been raised by his mom, Bheki carries her last name and not the Khoza name. He is reserved, well manners and educated – arguably the antithesis of his father. Brutus, however, adores the idea of his son and wants to build a better relationship with him. But we’re learning that father and son are not cut from the same cloth.
Madimetja Modjadji – played by Aaron Moloisi
He’s a good boy steeped - almost too deeply - in his Christian values and upbringing. Madimetja is a youth leader and a Pastor’s son. Madi as he’s affectionately known, has always had the hots for Mmabatho since they were little kids playing in the dusty streets of Limpopo. He is naïve and chooses to see the good in everyone. He believes that there is nothing God cannot fix. He is constantly praying and fasting, and encouraging everyone to turn their lives around and come to Jesus.
Mamiki Mahlaba – played by Paballo Moganedi
Mamiki is young woman from Mamelodi with a free spirit. She left home at 16. She has appeared in a few Pretoria house music videos, but has dreams of going national as a video girl. She moved to Tembisa after falling out with a wannabe music producer. She loves money more than anything else and her core belief in life is that for as long as she can bag a rich man, she will be better than fine.
Don’t miss their debut!
