Featuring an all-new cast of young queer people living in a safe house –House of Diamonds – the second season of the acclaimed reality series continues to beautifully explore themes of identity, belonging and self-acceptance.

The main cast members who will be featuring on Becoming season 2 are:

• Trey Moo (She/ They/Them), activist and writer: As the matriarch of the House of Diamonds, her focus is on keeping everyone housed and safe. But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have her own battles to fight – we follow as she confronts family rejection and seeks love and belonging.
• Delovie (They), The first non-binary photographer: The Ugandan-born photographer is also facing gender bias and visa issues.
• Seoketsi (She/her), Activist: The first daughter in The House Of Diamonds and activist faces her own traumas while attempting to find emotional, mental and physical stability.
• Caley (she/ Her), model: A Deejay and model who has walked for SA fashion week four times continues navigating through the modeling industry. She has family support. We follow her as she begins her journey of hormone therapy.

The rest of the cast is Koyame (He/ Him), Ayabonga (he/ they), Lulu (they) and Nene (she/ Her).

In Becoming: House of Diamonds, we follow our cast as they go through their individual journeys and meet them at the place where their paths intersect and perhaps even mirror each other. This is as much a show about community as it is about individual stories.
