FIVE reasons to watch Season 3 – Gomora

News
25 April 2022
Three seasons could only mean triple the drama, triple the suspense and of course, triple the entertainment! Here’s five reasons you should watch the brand-new season, starting tonight at 19:30!

  1. The gripping storyline

Just when you think you can almost tell what’s going to happen next, things take an unexpected turn. That’s Gomora for you! With Melusi and Thathi’s arrest for Phumlani’s murder at the end of Season 2, there’s no telling what will happen in the new season!

  1. It’s all-star cast

The cast needs no introduction. The likes of industry heavyweights Connie Chiume (as Mam’Sonto), Katlego Danke (as Thathi), Zolisa Xaluva (as Melusi) and Thembi Seete (as Gladys) execute their roles with perfection. Not forgetting Sannah Mchunu (as Zodwa) Sicelo Buthelezi (as Teddy), Siphesihle Ndaba (as Mazet) and Ntobeko Sishi (as Ntokozo).

  1. Gladys’s post-divorce glow up

From what we saw at the divorce party, Gladys looks like someone who’s ready to get back to the dating game. Will she kiss and few frogs on the way to finding her prince charming? Or will she and Melusi decide to give it a shot and get back together again? Only time will tell!

  1. The plot twists

Mam’Sonto had grown very fond of Phumlani and she did not take too kindly to the news that Thathi and Melusi were seen kissing again. What if she won’t believe Thathi when the truth about Phumlani is revealed? What will happen to their mother-daughter bond? Yoh, this just spells D-R-A-M-A!

  1. New season, new faces

Occasional special features of some of Mzansi’s actors/actresses is not something strange to Gomora and we wouldn’t be surprised to see few new faces in the coming season. We’ve seen the likes of Ernest Msibi who played Mohato, Nonhle Thema who played Cleo and Israel Matseke–Zulu who played Don in Season 2.
