The Pretoria couple took every L without breaking a sweat. Go down memory lane of their evolution on the show
S'jola Sonke

Sunday bore ample proof that Test and Rainbow made many foes during their experience on S'jola Sonke. The couple, who have been together for eight years, ruffled a few feathers on the show.

And during the reunion, the likes of Chi Chi, Lungile, Mandisa and Theo had a lot to say about how the Pretoria natives moved on the show. Still, in the midst of all the smoke, the couple stood firm in the defense of their relationship. Let us look back at how Test and Rainbow actually navigated and grew from the real-life, televised adventure.

Who are Test and Rainbow?

Test and Rainbow are a couple that appeared on S'jola Sonke season 1 on Mzansi Magic. The pair have been together for more than 8 years. They came on the show to explore multi-partner partnerships. Hailing from Pretoria, the lovebirds revealed in the beginning that they neither cared for the gender of the potential partner, nor for a bunch of other things that would concern a monogamist.

Who did they date on the show?

The couple connected with a number of singles throughout the season. There was a connection with Lungile. That fell through the cracks when she did not see eye to eye with Rainbow. Things got so tense at one point that the girlies were refusing to pass each other some table salt at breakfast. That was never going to end well.

Theo also entered the scene, with the intention of exploring something with the couple. Before then, they had been cultivating a bond with Chi Chi, whom they later dropped when she raised flags about Rainbow not being open.

Who did they choose?

In the end, Test and Rainbow chose to explore something Mbali outside the villa. The fact that Mbali is now dating Kefentse has not deterred the couple from their interest in dating the pink-haired beauty.

Sjola Sonke aired its first season on Mzansi Magic, DStv Channel 161, every Sunday at 21:00. Keep an eye out for more details on Mzansi Magic’s social media channels,Facebook,TwitterInstagram, and TikTok
