Mzansi Magic’s new show Beng’semathandweni, started on 3 November, welcomes therapist and life coach Dr Khosi Jiyane as host.
Dr Jiyane is a well-equipped presenter and speaker, engaging audiences on topics such as relationship and conflict management, wellness, psychological safety, and women empowerment, to name a few.
Dr Jiyane is not new to our screens. She has been a host on various shows like Khumbul’ekhaya, Kenya Connect, Fix My Love, and 3 Talk with talk show host, Noeleen Maholwana-Sangqu.
Her career highlights include:
- Registered for independent clinical psychology practice with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
- Head Coach and Consultant at Star for Life, an NGO that supports young people to live an AIDS-free life and to fulfill their dreams in 120 high schools in rural northern KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng, and Namibia.
- Dr Jiyane launched her own company, SouLit Ground, and facilitated SoulitudeTM, a personal and professional growth and self-mastery seminar.
- Facilitated Influencer, Crucial Conversations, Crucial Accountability and Change Anything, training programmes at The Human Edge.
- She has been recognised for “Most Programmes Run”, “Most Appreciated Facilitator” and “Most Lives Touched”.
Also known for her innovative approach to counselling, Dr Jiyane drives the show that will look at the difficult world of romance, heartache, and revenge. Beng’semathandweni will examine how fairytale relationships fall apart due to betrayal.
