Mlungisi feels the wrath of Mthembu on his body and is forced to change his ways.

 

Episode 131: Let’s get married, all three of us!

MaMzobe convinces Difa to help Mlungisi. Sibusiso attempts to convince his parents that he’s ready to change, but his father does not believe him. MaMzobe agrees to isithembu.

 

Episode 132: Reconciliations

While Zodwa believes Difa should indulge her feelings of despising MaMzobe, Difa is focusing on rebuilding his faith and setting his spiritual path straight so he can guide Mlungisi in the way of the Lord.

 

Episode 133: Zodwa wants it all

Difa is stunned when Zodwa says they should move out of the Gumede house. Mabusi struggles to come to terms with Zodwa’s life decisions. Sibusiso does damage control with his mother, but is hurt when Mlungisi refuses to see him.

 

Episode 134: Nang’Mkhululi

Difa takes his duty as Mlungisi’s guide seriously. Mabusi is ready to forgive Zodwa. Sibusiso tries to guilt-trip Nokubonga into mending his fractured relationship with Mlungisi.

 

Episode 135: Back to the old ways

Difa, Mlungisi and Maphalala find each other and make peace with Mthembu. MaMzobe finds a surprise waiting for her at the Mthembu house. Maphalala gives his blessings, while Sibusiso is back to his old ways.

 

Episode 136: The side chic

MaMzobe plays the good first wife in Difa’s eyes, but spews vitriol towards Zodwa driving her out. Meanwhile, Mlungisi is restoring order in the church with Difa’s help and reinstates the council.

 

 

Episode 137: Turning over an old leaf

The battle lines between MaMzobe and Mabusi are drawn when the former cuts the mother/daughter tie.

 

Episode 138: The vault home coming

MaMzobe gets manna from heaven. MaNzimande gets a revelation. Sibusiso ‘bribes’ MaZungu while Nobuntu wants to bring back the good old days

 

Episode 139: Money is the root of all evil

Difa is unimpressed when MaMzobe calls Mlungisi out of the council meeting, while he allocates money for church projects. MaNzimande is devastated to learn that Mthembu was murdered. Sibusiso’s efforts to buy mom’s love pays off.

 

Episode 140: Choose forgiveness 

MaMzobe is worried that Mlungisi is not ready to preach and will inevitably fail. Khulekani vents to Nomkhosi about being side lined after he learns about his father’s murder. Sibusiso buys a car.

 

Episode 141: The witch hunt

While MaNzimande bares the shame of appearing on newspaper front covers as the deranged widow who accuses the congregation of killing her husband, Mlungisi shows her his full support and she feels heard, which might just repair their relationship.

 

Episode 142: You’re expecting

Mlungisi convinces Siphamandla that they need to sit their mothers down. MaNzimande and MaMzobe have the seat down and agree to be civil with each other. A random lady praises Mabusi’s womb and later she and Siphamandla learn that they are pregnant.

 

Episode 143: Shattered pictures

Mlungisi and Nokubonga learn that they are pregnant, but Mthembu’s picture falls and shutters before they can share the news with everyone.

 

Episode 144: When God died

 The curse finds its way to Mkhululi and nothing, but darkness prevails.

 

Episode 145: Lash Mkhululi

Mlungisi’s death shakes the family. Khulekani and Siphamandla 

must decide who’s going to stop Umkhokha and lash Mlungisi’s body.

Episode 147: Whose corpse is it anyway?

MaMzobe learns that Mkhululi left her beautiful gift that cements her stronghold on the church. MaMzobe and MaNzimande go head-to-head over Mlungisi’s burial. Maphalala warns Sibusiso that his sins will follow him forever.

 

Episode 148: Inzila

While MaMzobe tries to get Mlungisi to be buried at the Gumedes, Difa and Maphalala are despondent they were unable to read Mthembu’s warning against Mlungisi. Nokubonga officially mourns for her husband.

 

Episode 149: Muvhango

When challenged by the Mthembus, MaMzobe will defy all odds to bury her son on her own terms.

 

Episode 150: The funeral

MaMzobe arrives at Mlungisi’s funeral, and everyone is on tenterhooks. Maphalala fears for anyone who ever mocked the church. Nobuntu persuades Sibusiso to attend Mlungisi’s funeral.
