Mzansi Magic can confirm that it’s telenovela Champions, will not be renewed after season one. Champions launched on Monday, 5 February, and is currently on-air Mondays – Fridays at 19:00.
The last episode will broadcast on 31 January 2025 with production for the season having concluded last month.
The telenovela stars are Jo-anne Reynecke, Sello Maake ka-Ncube, Tumisho Masha, Kwenzo Ngcobo, Kgomotso Christopher, Keitu Sankola, Thato Dithebe, Minki Malatji, Rethabile Mohapi, Thabo Malema and features many more talented cast members.

We are currently in the development of several new show concepts not limited to telenovelas and fine-tuning our key returning shows to ensure that Mzansi Magic’s prime-time 2025 slots are well received,” she concluded.
For the next six months of Champions viewers, can expect more exciting cameo appearances and a continuation of jaw dropping and surprising storylines. Tune in for Champions season 1, Mondays to Fridays at 19:00 until January 2025.
