Willy is the season's moreki following his third Friday night Arena Games win tonight, earning that victory by completing four challenges in just 37seconds. This week has seen Willy slither his way to being the richest housemate of the season so far with total winnings amounting to R19 500.
Since the season is way over the halfway mark, now is a good time to tally up the wins that the S'ya Mosha housemates have accumulated so far:
Willy, with a record-breaking three Friday night Arena Games wins this season, was the second housemate to bag the R5k courtesy of LottoStar after Jareed, and is the latest winner. This victory follows up on a week of Ws for him after he won immunity from nominations in the Fate Room, R3 000 during the Captain Morgan sponsor task, and R1 500 with his fellow teammates at the Domestos task. His wins are not just monetary. His winning streak also includes a reign as Head of House where he led the house to a wager victory despite tough condistions in the wild.
Watch Willy bag another 5K:
Staying on the topic of the season's records, McJunior holds one of his own: the housemate with the most Head of House wins, doing so back-to-back.
McJunior has not had the easiest journey to victory, and the recent tasks have proven to be quite the challenge for the 2x HoH to crack and win at. He is the personification of "so close yet so far" and looking at the results, it seems destiny abandons him often. His recent losses have been attributed to Willy, as he (McJunior) lost second place to him tonight after Willy dethroned him with a 10second lead. Last week, McJunior claims that Willy fed him false tips about the game which resulted in McJunior spending too much time on a tip that turned out to be a lie.
Aside from his near wins, McJunior has bagged a total of R6 500 that consists of a R5 000 Friday night Arena Games win and a victory worth R 1 500 from a Comfort sponsored task.
The Head of House is not a woman to be played with. Mpumi's competitive nature has her pursuing a win at all costs, and if she loses out, best believe she leaves her heart on the arena floor. She may have had a slow start to the season but once she broke the winner's seal, she has been eating every week since week five. HoH Mpumi first won a washing machine and a R1000 cash prize during the Omo sponsor task together with her team members. She followed that win up with wager win for herself and the rest of Team Kopano while the rest of the house faced hunger. She went on to top those Ws with R1 500 from Comfort's task, and R4 000 from the season's associate sponsor Captain Morgan. This week's HoH led the housemates to a wager win and she paired that up with R1 500 from Domestos, totalling her wins to R8 000 (so far).
Other winners this season are:
Head of House:
Mich (week 1), Neo (week 2), and Taki (week 5).
Dance challenge:
Neo, Sammy_M, and Zee.
Friday night Arena Games:
Jareed (week 1), Neo (week 3), and Sinaye (week 6).
Omo commercial + R1000:
Comfort sponsored task:
Lerato Modise, Makhekhe, and Meelay.
Domestos sponsored task:
Jareed, and Young Pappi.
Although stacking up these racks is a feat to celebrate, the race to the ultimate prize of R2million is still on, and with 13 housemates still in the running, it is anyone's game to win.
