The beginning – Eddie goes to Johannesburg
Eddie married his first and true love Raisibe from back home in Limpopo. Eddie has always truly loved Raisibe. However, he had to leave Limpopo for Johannesburg so he could make more money to cover medical costs for their daughter Mosima, who suffered from a heart condition. Eddie always promised to come back home so he, Raisibe and Mosima could be a family.
Eddie’s big secret
When Eddie arrived in Johannesburg, he made an impression on his boss and went as far as marrying his boss’ daughter, starting a new family here with Cebisile and their two children, Lindani and Zenzile. Eddie never told Raisibe that he had a whole other family in Johannesburg. He did not tell Cebisile about his wife and daughter in Limpopo either.
Secrets come out
Secrets can only be kept hidden for so long. When Cebisile’s old flame and family enemy, Frank came out of prison in search of revenge, everything began to unravel. Frank first killed Cebisile’s father, then he proved via DNA test that Lindani was actually his son and even managed to take over the company as owner and CEO.
Cebisile kills Mosima
In a fit of confusion after learning all that Frank knew, Cebisile killed Mosima in a hit and run accident. However, Frank was right on the scene to take a video. He used this to blackmail Cebisile.
Raisibe wants to know what happened to her daughter
In season two of this thrilling drama, Raisibe has come to Johannesburg to find out what really happened to her daughter and who killed her. However, she does not realise that her daughter was killed by her father’s second wife.
Eddie’s second big secret
Now Eddie is working to keep the second big secret from Raisibe – that Cebisile killed Mosima. Eddie does not want to send the mother of his only living daughter to jail even though he wants to divorce her. At the same time he cannot leave her because she has threatened to sell everything he and Raisibe built.
