Jub Jub

We love a comeback, and that’s certainly Jub Jub. Following his release from prison in 2017, he released the song “Ke Kopa Tshwarelo” (“Please Forgive Me”), then embarked on a TV career. And love or hate the Moja Love hit reality show, Uyajola 9/9, it gets people talking! He also co-produces the controversial programme.

Moshe Ndiki

We love an influencer who actually influences – and a breakout YouTuber who’s actually profited on his potential. After amassing over a million views on YouTube, Moshe moved on to TV, presenting Uyang'thanda Na on Mzansi Magic in 2018 and 2019, V-Entertainment, and recently Rea Tsotella on Moja Love TV. He’s also a contributor on the Morning Flava show on Metro FM.

Motshidisi Mohono

We love a smart sport presenter and Motshidisi is amongst the best. She also has tenacity – her first job was at a tuck shop in Katlehong when she was 15! She was the winning journalist at the 2018 SA Sport Awards, and as a presenter on Supersport she’s anchored major rugby tournaments, including Super Rugby. She was the first female to host a Rugby World Cup final.

Nomsa Buthulezi

She made a mark for Mzansi lesbians by coming out and getting married – and that’s before her brilliant work on the box. She’s been the presenter of the ever-popular Our Perfect Wedding since 2017, and also plays Slenda in the intense prison drama Lockdown.

Thomas Mlambo

Even though he deserted SuperSport, we’ll always love Thomas. And he’s a fighter – after his football dream was curtailed by injury, he moved into the presenter’s chair instead – within six months, in fact. Since leaving SuperSport, where he was the main anchor for football programming, he now presents Soccerzone4sho and Sportat10tv for SABC Sport.
