Warning, spoiler alert, tread carefully.

The swords glistened in the hands of amabutho. It's Dingiswayo and his army versus Mawewe and his horde in a battle that will decide who between the brothers will be king. Dingiswayo had patiently waited for the right time to return home from exile, ascend the Mthethwa throne, and avenge his brothers who suffered death due to Mawewe's lie.

The night before the big battle, Dingiswayo visited Mawewe and offered him the chance to surrender, but fuelled by power and greed, he refused.

The battle takes place, and it is intense. Qhude manikiniki zindala zombili. Dingiswayo’s army is much stronger and more strategic, thus defeating that of his brother. Dingiswayo has Mawewe right where he wants him, on his knees. Mawewe begs for his life, and although he is not killed, his poisonous tongue is sliced off, and he is cast out from amaThethwa.  Against all odds, Dingiswayo ascends to the throne of the mighty Mthethwa.

All hail Dingiswayo,

Nyambose,

Magaga onsibansiba,

Mfolozi emnyama inketha baweli nabawelayo bayayiqokelela,

Nina bakanhlamba kangicelani ngoba angiceli lutho lomuntu,

Wena okalugagane oluhlabangaphi ngoba phela lumhlaba ngale,

Thulisa kuyozwakala,

Nkonyane yenkosi

Hlangalezwe,

As per tradition, some of you took to the streets and let out a big roar about the battle and Mawewe’s punishment.

Here's what you had to say:

Some of you can’t resist a bad boy, especially when he’s a hunk. Amid brutality, you still found time to drool over your faves. Here's a look at some of your comments that caught our eye.

What will become of Mawewe now? We can only wonder.
