A conversation between Mpumelelo, MaYeni, and Musa leaves Mzansi shaken as he reveals what his thoughts are on marriage.

Mpumelelo is no stranger to trending and shaking things up on our timelines, the Izingane Zesthembu star who is Musa's heir has developed quite the reputation for being a lady's man. The 24-year-old has three children with girlfriends Vuyo ( 2 children) and Tirelo who also make appearances on the show. He welcomed his two boys in 2023. 

During a recent episode of Uthando Ne'sthembu, Musa asks his son when he will bring his intentions to marry the mother of his kids to their respective families. Mpumelelo then tells his father that he is still observing them and is unsure as to whether either of them would be his first wife. 

Culture says I should marry a virgin 

Mpumelelo goes on to further explain that according to cultural customs, his first wife should be a virgin and not someone with kids. His mom is seen expressing her disapproval, while his father respects his views but also highlights the importance of Vuyo and Tirelo. Musa gently reminds his son of the women who have ensured his legacy continues and not to push them aside. Will he take his father's advice? One thing about the Mselekus, they will always be honest with each other and we can't help but admire that.
