If you weren’t sweating then you were not there!

The sizzling yellow Massive Music stage is always a vibe on a Friday night especially now that the only place that we get our dose of groove is our homes. It's never a disappointment when our faves are on screen and of course such was the case this past Friday.

We got live treatments of bangers from some of our favourite artists and DJ and when we say our living rooms got smaller, we mean it! De Mthuda graced us with his musical presence and not only did he perform one song but he left everything on the stage with two fire performances as usual because it's always a good time everytime he pulls up.

Amapiano hitmaker came and did what he had to do! 🔥

Shapa piano! This was the mood when the first performance was the highly popular Amapiano tune which is taking the country by storm, “John Wick” featuring Sir Trill and Da Musiqal Chef and haibo haibo it was a musical mess!

It was so good, we had to have it twice!

Maybe you are wondering if we got some time to rest in between? That would be a hard no because as we took a second to breathe, Mthandazo Gatya was already ready to perform his latest single “Abafana”. On this jam, the talented newcomer who’s grown on us since his last appearance on the show blends some mbanqanga seasonings and up-tempo sounds to his new single and you know what, it’s a vibe and we are already looking forward to hearing more from him.

Fire, fire and more fire.

Njelic, De Mthuda and Malumnator on one song? Oh we signed up for this one in a hurry because we knew it was bound to be some heat and trust and believe, it was! The Amapiano hitmakers pulled through for a stellar performance of their single “Tsotsi” which got all of you buzzing for more and we were right there with you.

Smash Afrika also had a young chat with De Mthuda and Njelic about how their music has been getting international recognition and they even gave us a hint that there's more on the way!

If it's not broken, don't fix it!

This edition didn’t only come bearing performances but of course your favourite tunes from some of your most loved artists and a chance to interact and let us know which songs didn’t need remixes in your opinions.
