The runner-up was Isaiah Letsoalo aka Bomba eCute and he received a notable consolation prize: R20,000.

Eight weeks ago, 12 vibe kings and queens went head to head in their quest to unlock extraordinary enjoyment in their homes.

From the get-go, they had to pull out all the stops to impress the judges and those who didn’t bring their A-game suffered the ultimate consequence of being sent home. Challenge after challenge, theme after theme, they all tried to pull their weight and prove that they have what it takes to walk away with R150 000 and be crowned the Ultimate House Vibe King or Queen.

Twitter voting closed on Sunday night and all votes were verified by auditors SNG Grant Thornton. The public had a 50% say in the final outcome.

Siphesihle, who hails from Finetown, gradually won the hearts of viewers by going the extra mile for each vibe.

The judges this season were returning host Zulu Mkhathini, Carpo “The Gown Lifestyle” More, Khanyi “The Mbau Lifestyle” Mbau and Mpho “The Culinary Lifestyle” Popps.

The winner of the first season of the show – then titled Ultimate House Party – was material Don Dada.

The season was super well-received,  racing to the top of the Twitter trends for eight weeks running.
