One would think all the playing, chaos and fighting for survival happens on the pitch as the soccer players bring their all to make it to the top but it has been discovered that behind the field is really where it all transpires.
The Modise family steps outside as the legendary family with the perfect image and even when they may have a scandal or two under their portrait, it hasn’t been enough to cause concern until recently. When the players are not fighting for their lives on the pitch, here’s what happens after the last whistle.
The brothers fight over the chair
Bra Phil has always felt like the black sheep of the family and even though his brother made sure that he has a spot in the team, he never lived up to his expectations. After blackmailing him, Bra Phil got Washington to step down and he became the new chairman.
Lebo and his steroids
A bad training day turned into a nightmare for Lebo when Ferrari caused his injury. The fact that this came after Ferrari learned that he is losing his touch didn’t help when he tried to defend himself from the talks that followed saying he hurt him on purpose. The mess didn’t stop there unfortunately because out of panic, Lebo decided that he needs steroids.
Lucinda and Thapelo’s disappearance
He got caught with drugs on him, got arrested, beat his lawyer up, spilled all his family tea on a podcast, started using drugs again and did a hit and run while he was high and that is Washington and Lucinda’s son, Thabang. After all of this, his mother chose to save him by leaving her husband and disappearing with him.
Sne and Ferrari’s disastrous engagement
While everyone was weary after hearing that they are engaged, Sne convinced herself that she is happy and ready to be Sanele’s wife but he quickly went back to default settings when she caught him kissing her best friend in her father’s house.
Ferrari fired from the Giants
And then it was all over. Washington didn’t stand by and watch as his daughter’s heart gets broken so instead he took it upon himself to hand deliver Ferrari’s termination letter himself.
The drama stays being behind the scenes of it all and it still continues.
