Msizi & Zanele
They say you never forget your first love, and if you’re lucky, you get to marry them! Our bride this week, 28-year-old Zanele Mnisi, is counted among the lucky few who get to marry their first love and keep that fond memory forever.
She met her groom, 32-year-old Msizi Mthembu, as a shy schoolgirl whose parents discouraged dating. Msizi’s love was patient, and his steadfastness wore her down until she agreed to be his girlfriend.
They moved in together and had two beautiful children. Msizi knew then that he didn’t want to share his life with anybody else; he sent his uncles to Zanele’s family to ask for her hand.
Msizi values that his relationship with his future bride is one based on mutual respect, as well as a deep, abiding respect for their customs and traditions, which they do their best to observe in their home.
Together they run a home, and a business, with love for each other pouring out of their hearts.
