Oupa is an aspirant DJ, a college drop out.

Ousie Mavis’ son and Lindi’s younger brother. His most defining years were spent without a father figure in the house, but his mother did the best she could to raise him.Oupa is an up and coming DJ, who believes that one day he will hit the big time.

Season 4

Oupa starts Season 4 in a stable position. He continues to work as a DJ at Khaya FM, and he seems to be taking his life and responsibility more seriously. He takes a particular interest in his niece Bassie, and makes a huge effort to be her protector, and keep her on the straight and narrow. But can he save her from the unexpected dangers of love and obsession?
