The road to success is paved with good intentions, and in reality, mistakes and bad choices. Sometimes bad deeds can outweigh good ones even if all you’ve done is one bad thing. Like Ruth. She is surely reaping the bad seed she sowed the day she decided to wrongly take Sli as her own daughter. Even after paying her dues with jail time.

But it appears that Ruth’s troubles only began the moment she was released from prison. If it isn’t Thando kicking her out of her own grooming school and causing problems in her own marriage, it’s now Nhlaka, making insane demands.

An ardent community worker, Ruth was awarded much needed funds in order for her to continue to serve and help those less fortunate.

With the money she could turn the lives of many people around. Indeed she could turn her own life around. But just because she got out of jail on good behaviour her past wasn’t going to let her off so easy.

Nhlaka was only too happy to use Ruth’s kindness against her. The heartless ex-convict wanted to bleed Ruth dry, now that Ruth’s prize money was public news. Left with very little choice Ruth went back to Mandla and Sli with the problem.

But the worst thing that could’ve happened, happened…

Is Nhlaka going to get away with extorting all that money from Ruth?
