Nombeko and Thulani did say they would have their dream wedding, and they sure did!

From the cake, to the groom’s suit and catering, everything was just the way they had hoped it would be.

The couple didn’t have a cake at their traditional wedding in 2004, making this cake very special. They went for a five-tier fruit and red velvet cake and it incorporated their theme colours, purple, mint and silver. See for yourself below.

Everything about their wedding was in line with the these colours, so it was no wonder the groom and his groomsmen picked those colours for their suits. Nombeko only had one word to describe how she felt when Thulani and his groomsman stepped out of the dressing room.

Now, being a health conscious person, Nombeko opted for a starch-free menu for their wedding. This means, no rice, pap etc. but just a light meal consisting of healthy salads, roasted chicken and beef etc. See how their food tasting went.

And with that, the Mathambeka’s ticked off all the items on their Wish List and had themselves their dream wedding.
