If you are part of the Zungu family, you are lucky. If you are not part of the Zungu family, make sure you do not become an enemy. Nothing is more important than family to the Zungu family. Whenever, one of their own is in trouble, they will spare no effort in the physical or spiritual realm to get them out of it.

The biggest mistake one could make is to attack the entire Zungu clan

When Thandeka’s newborn son was kidnapped by Sunday Nkabinde and at risk of being his sacrifice, an army was brought together to bring him home. Not a single man was left behind in the protection of Mpiyakhe’s first grandchild born to his daughter, Thandeka.

From an arsenal of weapons, to an army of weapons, to a helicopter and even Thandeka stepping up to make a fatal shot, the Zungus would kill for one of their own.

The biggest mistake one could make is to attack the entire Zungu clan, as Judas Ngwenya found out. Ngwenya was trigger happy, kidnapping the Zungu children, pointing guns at the Zungu wives and threatening the very heart of the Zungu clan. Mpiyakhe risked his life and turned into umkhovu to save his entire family. Judas Ngwenya barely lived to tell the tale.

The Zungus are willing to put aside their differences for the sake of family and preserving the love of family.

Now, the Zungu’s face the potential loss of a new family member. Sibongile Mkhize, Zungu new wife has gone missing just a day after her wedding and there has been no sign of her for days. Mpiyakhe has spared no effort in trying to find her. He has gone as far as kidnapping potential suspect, Judas Ngwenya and torturing him to find the whereabouts of his wife. However, his love was tested again, when Qaphela kidnapped Melusi, and Zungu had to give up Ngwenya to get his son, Melusi back.

The Zungus are willing to put aside their differences for the sake of family and preserving the love of family. Mkabayi and Mpiyakhe butt heads all the time, but even now, Mkabayi is frontline in helping her brother find the missing wife she never wanted.
