Just when Saddam and Lillian were making plans to be parents, they lost their miracle love child, Myekeni. The circumstances around his loss are heartbreaking and all fingers point to the Zungu attack. But is Beauty also to blame for the loss of Myekeni?
Beauty had a tough call to make. She had to choose between saving her mother and saving baby Myekeni. With Saddam in the hospital bed and Lillian recovering from a stroke, she was the only family member who could make a call on who should live. Did she make the choice Lillian and Saddam would have made?
It was not Beauty’s choice to be placed in a position to make this decision. The Zungu attack had a number of ripple effects on the Ngwenyas and yet they were not even responsible for Sibongile’s disappearance.
Mpiyakhe Zungu convinced himself that Judas Ngwenya had kidnapped Sibongile to advance his Operation Khuculula takeover. Not only did he kidnap Judas to torture him into revealing Sibongile’s whereabouts, but his hitmen also shot and wounded Saddam. This led to intense worry from Lillian who then suffered a stroke putting her and Myekeni’s lives in danger.
Did Beauty make the right choice or should she have chosen to save Myekeni? Will Saddam and Lillian blame Beauty or the Zungus?
Beauty told doctors to save her mother. But when Lillian and Saddam find out they may not be happy with her choice. Could this tear apart the Ngwenya family?
Lillian was already gunning for the Zungus, seeking help to get revenge on them from Judas. However, revenge is not part of Judas Ngwenya;s plans right now.
