Dr Mary Okello – Stori Yangu

This week we meet Mary Okello, she is the 14th child out of 17 children. She is an educationist and moved to England to study and that was where she had her first experience with discrimination. She married Pius Alois Okelo and he passed away in 2004. She known for being a banker and opening schools in low income neighbourhoods. She turned her tragedy of losing her husband into a strength by helping less than fortunate women
