When Cindy took over Kina Waters, she didn’t know what she was getting into. She also didn’t know what it took to keep the company afloat and what it took for Nana to navigate the business world. After Nana left, Cindy was forced to take over the company and finish off what her stepmother had started.

Before Nana left, she had had discussions with the Cabinet Secretary (CS) Aisha Zidi about the possibility of giving Kina Waters the rights to drill water in Misri. Now that she was gone and had fallen from grace, CS Aisha decided to give the project to another company. This action would negatively impact not only Kina Waters but the employees as well.

So, Cindy decided to reach out to the CS who quickly dismissed her because she didn’t have money to bribe her. Cindy was not satisfied with the treatment she received and decided to give it another try – this time she recorded the entire conversation. In the next meeting, CS Aisha called to give the other company the rights to the project, Cindy called her aside and replayed the conversation of her admitting to having been bribed by the other company to give them the job. Pushed to a corner, the CS had no choice but to give the rights back to Kina Waters.
