She desires for her husband to be more polished and more traditional. Both husband and daughter go out of their way to avoid interacting with her but she enjoys a perfect relationship with Manish.
Mrs. Bhatt’s main traits are her cynicism, controlling, critical and manipulative nature. deep down, she cares about her daughter and is hell bent on ensuring she doesn’t make the same mistake she made which was to marry for love. she considers her marriage to her husband her second biggest failing, the first of course being giving birth to a girl.
Her character is hilariously scathing and sarcastic, constantly demeaning Varshita and Mr. Bhatt. She is judgmental towards her husband and is truly infuriated by Mr. Bhatt’s nonchalant attitude towards the situation
